Alexandra Park School

At KS3 we aim to deliver the full National curriculum whilst ensuring that the teaching of art is as accessible and innovative as possible; use of ICT is an integral part within schemes of work and student explore a broad range of media and processes such as painting and drawing, ceramics3D, Collage, design using Photoshop editor.

Students are taught in mixed ability form groups and receive 3 lessons within the two week timetable.

Year 8

Unit 1-Expressive Portraits (drawing & painting)

Unit 2-Patten & Print (Islamic Art)

Unit 3-Archetypes & Icons (ICT Adobe photoshop magazine design)
